Richard Scrimger

Richard Scrimger is the award-winning author of nine books for young readers, three picture books, and three books for adults. His works have been translated into eight languages, and have been critically acclaimed around the world. His first novel, Crosstown, was short-listed for the 1997 City of Toronto Book Award. The Nose From Jupiter won a Mr Christie Book Award, and was on most of the top ten lists. Bun Bun's Birthday was listed as one of the five best children's books of 2001 by Quill and Quire. Mystical Rose, his second adult novel, was selected as a Globe and Mail notable book of the year. From Charlie's Point Of View was listed as among the “best of the best” of 2005 at the Chicago Public Library. He is currently working on a book called Me & Death, the story of one boy’s experience with the (not so) sweet hereafter.
